Dr. Jodi Simkins is a Phi Beta Kappa honoree with over 25 years of experience in the South Florida area. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida with a degree in biochemistry. She received her Medical Doctorate from the University of South Florida in 1985. Her continued research into the latest scientific laboratory testing keeps her on the cutting edge of medicine.
Dr. Simkins is an avid cross trainer and is a strong proponent of healthy lifestyles, encouraging her patients to exercise and enjoy foods that promote good health. Since 2012, she has embraced the Take Shape for Life program as a coach or herself, her family and interested patients and has been astounded with the dramatic improvements she is witnessing in her patients’ lives. She also has an interest in food sensitivity and it’s relation to Connective Tissue Disorders and Autoimmune Disease, and chronic ailments in general.
